Rasmussen Reports says that McCain has now pulled ahead of Obama in it's daily tracking poll when "leaners" are included 47% to 46%.
Rasmussem said "This is the first time McCain has enjoyed even a statistically insignificant advantage of any sort since Obama clinched the Democratic nomination on June 3."
McCain is now trusted more by voters on energy issues 46% to 42%. Obama held a four point lead just 2 months ago according to Rasmussen.
It's nice to see McCain in the lead. It seems like the recent push on OCS drilling has moved public opinion in McCain's favor on the energy issues.
